Mia Sanchez recently dropped a track featuring Tasha Mac with a stupid catchy hook! This track right here is a reminder for everyone out there that they are the priority and no one else is. After listening to it a couple of times I couldn’t help feeling like I should run a bath for myself because I deserve it! Sanchez shows off her talent with her strong vocal riffs and Tasha Mac has those flows that will have your head practically rocking off your shoulders. I have to say hats off to the producer of this track because they added a whole other dimension to the song and really struck home that Latin influence. If you’re a fan of Latin-infused Pop/R&B-type music, listen to LYS!

How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?

I would say the music I create today is a blend of r&b/pop with a hint of Latin on some of my tracks. I try to make my music as authentic and personal as possible so that it’s easier for my listeners to connect and relate to.

What is your creative process like, especially in your most recent projects?

The way that is most natural to me in terms of the creative process of my songs, is to have the basics of the beat done first, which is usually done by [my talented producer] God flow then I freestyle some melodies and lyrics onto the beat, and then finally write the final lyrics to whatever melodies I/we come up with. Once the skeleton of the song is done, we finish up the beat and add backups and harmonies.

What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Track?

The title of the track “LYS” is the acronym for “Love Yourself” which pretty much sums up the message we’re directing to our listeners.

Throughout the song, Tasha and I are having a conversation with our listeners about taking care of their health, putting themselves first and learning to be good on their own. Telling them to love themselves.
