Cain Deezy Says You’ve “Lost It”

MUSIC|WAVYMOMENT

Cain Deezy is an RnB inspired artist from Dallas, Texas and he just dropped his new E.P. Futuristic Tape Deck with our feature track “Lost It”. This track will hit you best on a late night drive when you’re in your feels. Cain Deezy speaks on being in a controlling, almost toxic relationship which brings up memories of past experiences and how they’ve lost it now that they’re apart. Putting up with non-sense is unacceptable and now he’s off that. “Lost it” features artist Nerium who makes a perfect tonal pair with Cain Deezy. Nerium evolves the track with amazing variations and runs and the track finishes with the pair melodically ad-libbing over the hook which was sonically outstanding. Check out “Lost It” below!

We tapped in with Cain Deezy and here’s what he had to say:

How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?
These days my biggest influence is R&B music this song was my first attempt at making my own R&B type of vibe

What is your creative process like, especially in your most recent projects?
Usually I'm alone in my home studio recording/making beats on this song specifically I collaborated with a dope artist name Luie G. who helped write the melody to the song after that I sent the song over to my good friends Nerium who added their own touch to become the final version you get to hear

What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Tracks?
I'm not sure if there is a message I would hope someone gets from this song. It is written from the perspective of me witnessing a relationship between two people close to me fall apart. After words one of them has moved on to really thrive and have a better life while the other one may have taken a few steps back and is still trying to find themselves.
