We had a conversation with Anthony to discover more about his sources of inspiration, artistic approach, and the key message he intends to convey through his sound - this is what he shared with us:

How would you describe your sound in this new release?
the sound varies from song to song, but for the most part all stays within a storytelling theme of romance, ending in love lost. all songs are pretty intimate, some songs are lighter than others & some feel a little darker/more intense, but all within the theme of romance and what comes with it like i said. very rnb for sure.

What is your creative process like, how do you feel it resonated with the music?

my creative process varies as well! in the case of this project, i had a story to tell, and that was the top priority. some songs came naturally to me in routine studio sessions or daily life, making it easy to capture their chapter. Some songs we realized fit after the fact. & then we had one or two we had to put a little more time into making it sonically fit, and put some reallll TLC into. like believer for example, that song had been written for a minute, we went through a few different beats before finding what we feel ended fitting best. regardless, i’m just grateful that we’re able to bend the process song by song, and still make it work.

What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Tracks?

no real message to be honest. i just hope they enjoy the music, and enjoy the story. and they want to hear more from me. its an exciting time for me right now, & there’s so much more to share.
