Luie G has come out with a new track called “9am”. The track recalls an early morning conversation Luie g has with a love interest and he pairs the story with a late night vibe. He approaches the track with a laid back beat and rides it for most of the soundtrack. Near the end he surprises us by switching the beat and slowing his flow down even more. He treats us with an undeniable vibe and forces us to bop our heads to it. Luie G shows us how capable he can be and the wide range of vibes he is trying to capture. Luie G has also worked with artist Cain deezy who we have previously featured. How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?

The music I make nowadays is more true to who I am, each song is created from my own perspective on the subject of the song.

What is your creative process like and how did that play out on the record ?

I collaborated on this song with an awesome artist that also recorded/produced my vocals for this song, Cain Deezy. For this song in particular, I heard the beat and instantly gravitated towards it, I recorded just simple melodies over the track, then after we listened back and decided on the subject of the song and created the lyrics based on the melody I recorded.

What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Track?

If there is any message you can take away from the track or any of my music is that we all go through similar situations in our life, whether they are good or bad, you're not alone. If you can relate to my music and connect with my lyrics in any way, that's really what matters most to me.
