We had a conversation with Mindflip to discover more about his sources of inspiration, artistic approach, and the key message he intends to convey through his music - this is what he shared with us:
How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?
Positive, uplifting, and fun!
What is your creative process like, especially in your most recent projects?
I start by having a study session with one or two producers and explain the vision I have for the song. Sometimes, I write and record the hook on the spot to capture the vibe of the moment with the beat still feeling brand new! For the verse, I love to work on it for a few days and plunge myself in an environment that fits the song. For example, if it's a night rider vibe I’ll go for a night drive with my windows down and write while I drive.
What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Tracks?
That the only limits they have are the ones they set themselves and that love is always the answer.
Any Exclusive information / announcements you got for the vibenextdoor?
I'll be touring Western Canada in August, Europe in September and then Eastern Canada in October/November. Really excited to connect with people, especially in Germany as I used to live there and haven't been back since I moved.
