Lily's music is like a cool mix of pop, R&B, and soul. Growing up on Eminem, she’s been writing songs since she was 8 years old. But it was at a 2013 Ariana Grande concert that made her realize she wanted to do music forever.

How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?
My music is a good mix between r&b and pop… I like to call it popsoul
What is your creative process like, especially in your most recent projects?
my creative process changes a lot … especially now that I’m collaborating with more writers. But typically my songs come directly from something real happening in my life. A lot of the time, if I’m the sole writer, I’ll just pull a beat from my drive and write however I’m feeling in that moment. I can write a song really quick if I’m really angry or sad about something …. like 5 minutes. But If I’m writing with others and have a Producer in the room creating the track. I kind of just explain the vibe to the Producer , tell them what sounds I want within the beat…. Then I like to sing Melodys till it feels right. Then we write the song.
What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Tracks?
It’s gonna sound so cliché, but I want people to follow me and listen to my music and know that if I can do it, so can they. A lot of the times, music was the only thing there for me throughout my life… I want to make songs for EVERYONE to relate to and have something to go along with everything they’re dealing with in life.
I Make Love songs , break up songs, songs about grieving , songs about feeling insecure, songs by Fake Friends , songs about feeling confident… I’ll sing about being sexy but I’ll be wearing a hoodie and that’s what I love the most about it because I get to be me and people still love my music… i want them to look at me and see themselves
