How would you describe the music you typically create nowadays?
Emotional, that’s the word I’ll use to describe it. But the emotion is expressed through alt pop/r&b, a genre that was helped pushed forward by The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Miguel, etc. I’m a romantic, so I tend to put a lot of feelings into my music, and it helps paint a vivid visual picture. I’m also a visual artist, visual art was my first love, so I try to transfer that into music.
What is your creative process like, especially in your most recent projects?
My creative process is kinda unpredictable, but I like to take inspiration from life. And I try to put it into words as nice as I can, but sometimes the melodies come before the words, which usually makes it a lot easier. Then I place that on an instrumental. Sometimes my friends send me music to record on, other times I find them on youtube. I’m just starting, so I still record myself at home at the moment. I do a little mixing, then I send it out to my engineer for the rest.
What Is The Message You Wish Listeners To Take Away From The Track?
I have always been a believer that art is subjective, and everyone can take away different messages from my records. The message I want them to take out might not be the one they eventually take out of it, we all live in different realities so it's cool. To be honest, sometimes I feel like I’m just the vessel, the messenger. And life, the universe, is the real composer.
